Hebron English School, Bagdogra has school buses which are run in cooperation with Alpha Transport for the transport of students in and around Bagdogra and Siliguri area. 

We encourage parents to send the children with the school transport as it would make it easy for the children to participate in various school activities. School buses are an extension of the school. The school has its own school buses and also authorizes transporters who meet the standard and the needed requirements as per the school and government norms.

 

For the safety and security of the students the school uses only those buses that fulfill the norms of the government. The school buses are fitted with VLDT tracking devices and cameras for the safety and security of the children. (PLEASE NOTE THE TRACKING SYSTEM FOR PARENTS IS CURRENTLY UNDER UPDATE FROM THE VEHICLE DEPARTMENT AND WILL BE AGAIN PROVIDED WHEN REQUIRED TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS RECEIVED FROM THE PARIVAHAN DEPARTMENT)

Rules & Regulation

 

Rules & Regulation For Transport Facility. 

 

  • That the bus fee will be charged for one complete academic session i.e. from 1st April to 31st March irrespective of when the students start boarding the bus.
  • That the bus fee will be paid on quarterly or monthly basis and within the 10th of every first month of the quarter /month.
  • The school acknowledges every payment made to through online and parents are requested to make sure that they save the receipts generated online for every payment they make.
  • That the student will avail the bus service for one completed academic year and will not be allowed to drop in the middle of the session, if the student drops the bus service in the middle of the academic year the whole year fee will have to be paid by the parent.
  • That if the student is found damaging the bus property, then the parents/ guardians will have to bear the losses.
  • That in case of any mishap/accident the owner of the vehicle/firm will not be liable for any compensation whatsoever. The concerned Insurance Company would be entitled do the needful as per their norms.
  • That the student should board the bus and get down from the bus on the same specified bus stop as mentioned in the application form.
  • That the student should not keep his/her body (arms & head) out of the window of the bus at any time.
  • That the student should behave decently and maintain the same standard of decorum and discipline inside the bus as maintained in the school.
  • During the time of exams or any other co-curricular activities, the bus timings and the bus stoppage may be altered to maintain the smooth operation of the bus.
  • That in case the phone no/ mobile no. is changed; the same is to be intimated immediately to the school.
  • Bus is an extension of the school; therefore student must follow all rules of the school in the bus He/she cannot bully/ hurt anybody with words or actions. Phone is not allowed to be kept / carried in bus.
  • The bus fares to all the routes shall be hiked in accordance with the hike in the diesel and petrol rate by the Central Government.
  • Please ensure that your child arrives at the bus stop five minutes before the scheduled time during the morning pick up and also during the drop please ensure that the parent or guardian of the ward would arrive on time to pick the child from the stop.
  •  The bus will not wait for students at the bus stop and if found late the bus will consider that the child will be not coming to school and resume for the rest of the route.
  •  If the Parents do not arrive at the scheduled time to pick their ward during departure/drop the child will be carried in the bus for the rest of the trip and will be brought back to the school after the route of the bus is complete. Parents will have to come and pick the child from the school in that case.
  • Parents are not allowed to change the pick and drop station of a child without first  informing the school and the bus manager.
  • Parents should not indulge in any form of financial activity with the school bus drivers or helpers of the bus regarding payment of fees or any other school related concern.
  •  Parents are requested to complain directly to the school bus manager if there are any concerns or problems found with the school buses, drivers or the helpers instead of getting into an argument with bus drivers or attendant or other parents/students.
